VoA new Boss 3.3 – Toravon

Toravon is the 4th boss from VoA, located before Archavon on the right side. This boss its easy compared with others, you just need some attention.

He has four important abilities that you should be aware if you want to kill it; first its a debuff called Frostbite and he will apply it to the person that currently has aggro aka the tank and it inflicts 1950 to 2050 Frost damage every 2 sec and reduces move speed by 5% for 10 sec and stacks up to 100, thats why you will need 2 tanks, that should taunt the boss from each other at 4-5 debuffs.

Second ability that is one of the most devastating in pugs its Frozen Orb; that will create a Frozen Orb at a nearby location and will inflict 2925 to 3075 damage every 1 sec to enemies within 8 yards. There will be 1 Frozen Orb on 10man and 3 on 25man, and they should be immediately kill by range, so having a balance raid between melee and range its recommanded.

Another deadly ability is Whiteout that will work like an enrage timer; it inflicts 13163-13837 frost damage to all nearby enemies and increases frost damage taken by 25% so the 5th buff will be deadly that means you have around 5 minutes to kill him. Last ability is Freezing Ground that will inflict frost damage (4625-5375 ) to nearby enemies, immobilizing them for up to 5 sec and it must be dispeled.

NOTE that all the frost damage is affected by the debuff from Whiteout, so the damage will increase as the fight evolves. The key to do this boss are: tanks change on 4-5 debuffs, range kill the adds ASAP, BL/Heroism on the start of the fight, use frost resist totem/aura to reduce the damage.
